A day to explore reflective practice and evaluation through creative experiences outdoors and learn how to apply them with your own groups. On this training we’ll touch on a variety of approaches informed by ecopsychology, groupwork, participatory arts, questing, Land Art and others. This will involve reflective walks, building trails and natural artworks, guided dialogue, writing and sensory exercises. Trying out experiences for ourselves, we’ll learn new ways to incorporate reflection and evaluation into your groupwork. We will discuss how we support groups and ourselves as leaders when deep issues emerge and the challenge of building in time for reflection in an action-packed programme. You’ll come away more confident and prepared to support a group to get the most from an experience.
